Marketing and Events Coordinator
What are your responsibilities?
I oversee development and implementation of our church's marketing strategy (print, digital, and social media). I work in tandem with the pastors and other ministry team leaders to develop cohesive branding and events that celebrate the gospel and bring people together in community.
Where are you from?
Born in Knoxville, TN; raised in Chandler, AZ; spent my college years in Los Angeles, CA; and now call Kansas City, MO, my home.
Education and/or experience?
I have a bachelors degree from Biola University in Interpersonal Communication, and have worked in the wedding and events industry for almost seven years. In addition to my role at church and being a homemaker, I also currently work for a non-profit ministry called If Not For Grace as their event coordinator.
What hobbies/interests do you have outside of work?
I love spending time with my husband Kevin and our almost two-year-old Harrison. We enjoy reading, exploring local coffee shops, dreaming up new small business ideas, hiking, and experimenting with sourdough starter.
